Today I took my first long drive with my new RS9000X shocks. It also
happened to be on a rather windy/twisty road. I was very impressed.
Right now I'm running the front shocks on '1' (softest setting) and
the rears on '3'. The truck corners very well and the tires stay
glued to the road over all kinds of big bumps, poorly maintained
railroad crossings, potholes, etc.
I'm definitely considering the in-cab adjusters now, though -- a
setting of 1-2 on the front is perfect for the crappy streets we have
around here, but a setting of 3 or 4 would be more comfortable (at
least to my taste) on a smooth freeway.
Anyway, the truck now rides better than it did on the first day. I
wish I would have bought these shocks sooner.
