Worthy of note is the fact that this adjustment only affects the part
throttle shift points and kickdown points. Shifting at WOT is
unaffected. Basically, you're gonna want a helper. Have the helper
watch the TV lever on the transmission (driver's side, just open and
close the throttle to find it.) Put the cable to the shortest setting,
then pull it out slowly, checking when the lever on the trans is pulled
completely rearward. Drive this setting around for a while, then play
with the adjustment to suit your tastes.
