Mike,
Do you have the 15x7 or 15x8 rims? The width may affect the max size
tire you can run. Also keep in mind you'll need your PCM reflashed for
the new tire diameter. Stick close to a stock size and you'll be OK
there - deviate too much and your speedo and odo will be off forever.

I had 31x10.5R15 BFG A/T KOs on my '99 and they were great all around.
Terrific on the road even in the rain and snow, and they did decently
at Jon's - but I never put them through the slop we saw this weekend, it
was drier the 3 times I took them out there. The couple times I did get
hung up I think it was as much due to clearance as it was tires.

As others have noted, you can go to 32x11.50 but you will have a slight
rub. If you have the 7" wide rims I strongly recommend you go to an 8"
rim to run these tires.

You will get a million responses this and you may end up further from
the solution than you were when you started. BFG M/T KMs are also great
tires, as you saw this weekend, and meed your "less roadworthy" criteria.
