from what i've heard, the 6.1L HEMI was killed a couple of months ago.
however, what i had heard from a recent posting to a magazine was that the
HEMI going into the cars would be rated at 400HP. i'm down with those
numbers.
now, with all the trouble that DC has been giving Kenne Bell to design the
supercharger on the HEMI, i seriously doubt DC would actually slap a blower
on any car from the factory (for the HEMI's at least). i would think DC
would be handing KB the keys to the PCM to release this thing ASAP, but we
all know that the logic stops at the DC front doors.

I'm crossing my fingers that they'll have the 6.2 HEMI in there. Mopar
Magazine says that the 6.2 will put out the numbers that the SC 5.7 HEMI
does (Based on the Magnum SRT-8 with the SC'd 5.7 HEMI). Man that would be
sweet. Supposedly, the Magnum SRT-8 will debut with the 6.2 HEMI non-SC'd.
Kinda hoping they'll do that for the Dodge Charger as well (if they make
it). Sheesh, there I go dreaming again, gotta stop getting my hopes up like
that.. :-)
