Whoa, you have electrical noise? Near as I can tell, we have almost
the identical truck ('00 CC 4x4 4.7L ... Patriot Blue rocks!) and I
haven't noticed any electrical noise at all. And that's with cranking
up my aftermarket head unit and pumping that through the crappy stock
infinity amp (soon to be gone).

Sounds like you might have a bad ground somewhere -- that's where I'd
check first. I've noticed that a lot of people have beefed up the
chassis ground, which is something that I'll probably be looking into
once I get my amp in in the next week or so.

The only time I notice any electrical noise is when I connect my CB to
the cigarette lighter and crank the RF gain all the way up and the
squelch all the way down and listen to an empty channel.

(I also have the HD package which includes the 137 amp alternator)
