The 4.7 and 5.7 have the 5-45RFE, you have a 44RE. Actually, through
'01 the Dak 4.7 had the 45RFE (4 forward gears plus an alternate 2nd
gear), but a software update makes it a 5-45RFE (5 forward gears plus
the alternate 2nd gear).

Well damn. The way you'd worded it before I wasn't sure. But to have
the dealer VIN report this far wrong is really weird.
