Does it only make the noise when you turn and the truck is moving? If
so, it's probably your intermediate steering shaft. You can fix the
problem with a can of silicone spray lubricant (or a spray-type white
lithium grease... the silicone works faster but doesn't last as long,
whereas the lithium is slower to work in but lasts longer) ... what
you want to do is spray the intermediate steering shaft joint (about
6-8" down the shaft from the firewall). You'll probably want to hold
a few paper towels or something behind where you're spraying so that
you don't get the grease everywhere.
