Ok, I guess we could give Daktoberfest another try. :-) How would
Fri+Sat October 24-25 work for everyone? The Bleazards are probably up
in the air depending on what happens with Jason's job prospects, but
that no doubt applies no matter what October date we choose. If it
turns out that they will be leaving mid or late October, I'd probably
be inclined to move the date up so they can make it. :-)
I modified the fire pit a bit - replaced the cinder blocks with
stones, made it a bit bigger, then cut and stacked up about a cord
of firewood on the perimeter of the woods. So, even if the weather
gets nippy, we should have a nice bonfire to warm up with. (And if
the fire isn't big enough, I can always make it bigger by shooting
magic leprechaun dust out of my finger. ;-)
