Dirty bastages...... So, what do I need to read/reset codes on my
laptop? I am guessing an appropriately sized serial cable and some
software? If I want to go one step further and modify things, is that
also possible, given a laptop, cable and some kind of software?

99's are OBD-2..the cycling of the key trick 3 times only works on 95
and
earlier Dak's.

96' and up REQUIRE a scanner TO PULL THE CODE....
