A friend of mine runs oval dirt track. He carried out an experiment of
pouring samples of the major brand synthetics into containers and using a
ox-acetylene torch on them. All but the amsoil were burnt to carbon, while
the amsoil was still viscous with the equal attention! Try it and see what
you think.
