Ok... Heres one for you guys!!
I was comming home a few nights ago, and I noticed the transmission
shuddering intermitently. It hapened twice on a hour-and-a-half trip, about
halfway through... but hasnt done so since. The shudders lasted about a
second and then went back to normal.
I took the truck out on the highway today, drove it for about an hour, but
could not replicate the shudders. I'm wondering what it could be... I
changed the trans fluid last December using ATF+4, and the fluid level
looked OK when I checked it today.....not sure what color the ATF+4 should
be though.
What causes a transmission to shudder annyway?? I'm hoping this is
something simple that can be fixed for the time being.
