Normally...the clutches wearing out or have worn out. When the steels
and worn-out clutches bind together...it makes the trans shudder on the
shit points and, in worn out clutch cases, will shudder even during
engagement.

I'd have the trans rebuilt before anything else happens...it's seen some
hard driving there Gary. :)
