I've done that before and without putting a hammer/ratchet shifter in the
truck I think it would be too much of a liability unless it was a reverse
pattern. Plus, If I've got to shift my own gears, I'd rather be clutching
them. Thanks for the info Bernd, I'll give wayne a call and see what he's
got to say when I'm ready to rebuild.
