I'm not so sure about the stability part of a MAC anymore. I've been told
by several MAC people that they do not crash. I do not deal with MAC's
directly but I have several customers that have MAC's connected to my
printer/copiers and the MAC's are constantly loosing the TCP/IP connection
to the equipment while the PC's still see the equipment. Also nearly
everytime the printer drivers are installed the MAC has to be rebooted at
least once. PC's take the drivers just fine. Not sayin MAC's are junk, but
all computers do have their problems, like vehicles, and everyone has their
own preferance. I will admit I have not seen a PC that can RIP through a
graphics file like a MAC though. In the graphics industry they just can not
be beat. I would like to own a MAC to get familiar with them for work but
they are just to ungodly espensive for my wallet and as others have said
"Can't always go to Best Buy, Circuit City, or Wal-Mart for software".
Granted online you can purchase the MAC equilivant, or if your city is lucky
enough to have a MAC specific store your in luck. Other than that this
debat could last forever just like debating who makes a better truck, Dodge,
Ford, Chevy, GM, or Toyota. All depends on what you like.
