I never noticed any problems with the Mopar filters after having them
on my truck for the first 47,000 miles. At the last oil change (which
I did myself), I switched to the K&N filter. I'm not sure why no one
else has thought of their idea of putting a nut on the end of the
filter so that it can be tightened/loosened with an ordinary wrench...
that alone is worth the extra money to me.

No trouble out of the K&N filter yet, but it's only been a month and
about 600 miles :) I'm going to send the oil in for analysis one more
time at this oil change, and as long as it still looks good, I'm
probably going to stick with the K&N filters for my own personal
benefit when changing the oil. The nut on there is nearly almost as
cool as the Fumoto valve. Ok, not quite, but it is very cool..
