having done a bit more looking, I see a good t-case (NP208), and I've
got a solid motor to start with. I think it's got 3.23 gears, which
will Need To Be Fixed, and I know it's got open diffs.
project #1: 4.10s and a rear locker. if it had the CAD instead of
locking hubs (I think it has manual hubs) I wanna fix that.
if it has the CAD front end, step one becomes swapping in axles with
the "right" gears (somewhere between 3.92 and 4.56) with 8 on 6.5" hubs.
since this is a project for not now, I've got plenty of time to learn
what I need to and dig where I can for parts. this'll be fun <g>
