Hey, Jason

<snip> Except, of course, when you need to carry something
that's too large to fit underneath it, but that's a problem no matter what
 brand you go with. <snip>

Not so, Oh Dweller of the Great White North! The VersaCap, manufactured in
Ontario, Canada, which is what I have on the DAKSY, is a combo. It opens
"Gull-wing" or "butterfly" style, PLUS I can open it from the middle and can
raise the racks to hold canoes or 16' lengths of lumber. There is enough
room BETWEEN the racks the I can put in a major appliance or a woodstove.
Takes about 5 minutes to get the racks into position. It's fairly heavy -
350# - and it's made of steel. I was told by the owner of the company that
some of you Canuckers even park their snowmobiles on top of the cap when
they're hauling them around.
