My magic number was 36#. I don't know how well paper would work, but
you could try it. (that's why I threw in the part about the salt dust..
)

nah =( nothing ever sticks around in Rochester, especially this early

makes sense to me. I'm thinking that a sheet or three of paper might
make a far easier (if very slightly less accurate) method of
determining contact patch - I certainly need to take care of this
before Thursday...
