Being a 96, You'll be able to use most of the performance parts for Jeep
Wranglers, but I prefer earlier 4 cylinders. If all else fails, drive it
till it quits, and use the body for the 92. or move the drivetrain to the 96
someday.

The only thing that ever hurt my mileage was either having the truck WAY too
overloaded.. 2200-2600# will hurt mileage, or the days that the gas pedal is
a part of the floorboard.
