Personally, the Torque Management issue with my Supercharged 3.9 isn't that
BIG of a problem after I had a chance to do some research on it.
I can stall the RPM's up to about 2200 or so without spinning the tires at
the track on a launch, which tells me the stall converter is working!.......
But when I release the brakes it blows the tires away and wheel hops......If
I launch at 1200-1500 RPM it leaves cleanly with a 2.30-2.40 60' and only a
faint hint of wheel spin.
My single BIGGEST issue is traction or a lack of it to be more precise!
If I can get it to BITE on the launch the torque management will help
prevent driveline breakage when I get the wheel spin under control.
Anyone have any idea's as to how to make this thing bite?
My apologies for changing the subject at hand!

I think the TQ management thing with respect to 60 ft time is highly
exaggerated. I know of a few people right off the top of my head who are
laying down 1.6 and 1.7 60 ft. times with PCMs that have never been altered
for TQ management. Scott Q, Dan Bennett, Mark Bellisimo come to mind
immediately. Scott and Dan definitely run high stall converters. Not sure
with Mark.
Could probably come up with quite a few more by asking around. The TQ
management thing started out as a question/concern and has taken on a life
of it's own since. I don't think all the facts about it are on the table
just yet.
