The 4.7L and 5.7L share the same system...but (obviously) different
programming due to the fly-by-wire design of the 5.7L TB.

I'll say...

The only place I know that definately has Torque Management is the new Rams
with the 5.7 and the drive by wire setup. The setup I'm hearing about on
the 4.7 doesn't sound like torque management so much as an attempt to smothe
out the shifts and lengthen the life of the trany.

Torque Management by definition on the Ram is the PCM opening the TB a
little more to account for hills, the a/c kicking in, etc...
