Subject: DML: OBD II Codes - P0320, P1296, P1391
Soon after washing my '01 4.7L 5-spd truck, it started to develop a
misfire of sorts and now no longer cranks. The odo spits out P0320,
P1296, P1391 which led me to think that I had a bad or unplugged
(high-pressure degreasing) crank position sensor. I've removed the plug
and cleaned the contacts on both the MAP and CKP and my problem remains.
Any ideas? Does the oil level lie below the CKP such that I can just
change it if need be? I'm gonna check the wiring for continuity
tomorrow but forsee a new sensor in my future.
