My APEXi SAFC-II has a voltage meter on it. Normal running voltage is
13.8v. When the lights are turned on, the voltage drops to 13.4. With the
wipers and defroster on (with the lights)...voltage is at 13.1-13.2v. No
problems at all and that's with the PIAA 9007 bulbs.

Anybody ever measure the voltage drop at the headlight? Just curious; in the
past I have often seen 1-4v drops on various vehicles meaning a significant
increase in possible output if you go to a relayed system. Not that I like
complicating and hacking things, but it seems the gain is worth it in some
cases.
