Re: Gear whine?

According to your description,you say it only whines under load,and more
noticable at high speeds.In my experience with this it has turned out to be
the pinion bearings.( twice in a 92)Did this place replace these bearings?
If so, did they replace the crush collar and adjust the preload to factory
spec? Be sure you have the old " Chrysler Clunk"or the pinion is
overtorqued.I burned out a pair of bearings in 2 days due to a misprint in
my FSM. Hope this helps Steve
