I wouldn't think that is to good of an idea.. I realize that the price of
gas ain't cheap, but all you really need is about a 5 minute warmup period,
before you leave, for your vehicle to warm up faster. I usually start mine
about 5 minutes before I leave(I have 3 miles of stop and go turns to
highway) and I usually have heat within about a mile of my house. Holding
shifts on a cold engine is not real healthy either and its even more
annoying in an automatic.
