Tell me about it! Changing it every 3000 miles might be overkill, but
I think I'll stick with my overkill. It's a good way to have an
excuse to get under the truck and take a look at things to make sure
everything is still in order.

Of course, I run schedule "B" on my truck (I tow frequently during the
warmer months and a large chunk of the rest of my driving is stop and
go -- 4 miles each way to work, but all on surface streets with
annoyingly out-of-synchronization stoplights) so the schedule actually
says to change it every 3000... and gear oil/transmission every
12,000 miles.

I'm not going to be able to afford to buy a new truck for quite a
while, so I'm just going to do my overkill maintenance to try and make
this one last as long as possible.
