You're right Rick, if you have enough spark to begin with, adding more
doesn't do anything. Sorta like ported throttle bodies.... if the stocker
flows enough air for your combination, the "ability" to flow more won't show
an improvement (been there, tried that). A given engine can only "suck" so
much air. Ported (and F&B) 50mm never showed me anything to justify the
cost. Now a Fastman 52 with my combination.... yeah!! (for those of the
F&B persuasion, their 52 would have worked for me too, but at a higher cost.
they are pretty, though)
