Yeah, this is nuts! Wasn't it almost 70 about 2 weeks ago?
I realize -5 (what is is here right now) isn't that cold for
some other parts of the country but for someone who hates
the snow and cold, this is annoying. :-) When I step outside
it just bites right into me! (Probably didn't help that I
just had my flat top trimmed up) ;-)
I just moved the 3500 into the barn (it had been sitting outside)
and it was not happy about that at all! :-) Took a couple of
tries but it did finally start and I was able to back it
into the barn. (Backing up an icy slope with a grumpy 2wd diesel
with 460 ft-lbs on tap was in *interesting* experience...)
Anyway, good luck with the tailgate - I hope that solves the
problem for you!
