Check your 3rd brake light seal. Happens all the time on the older Rams and
occasionally on the Dakota's as well.

Subject: DML: I've got a leak!

:-(

Today I was going to clean up the wiring on my rear speakers. When I
removed the rear side panel on the drivers side (2000 Club Cab), the far
back corner on the drivers side was wet. This is the area that is usually
covered up by the foam insulation crap that's in black plastic that looks
like a garbage bag. I looked around quite a bit and from what I can tell,
the only place for the water to come in from is the seal that runs in
between the roof and the side of the truck above the little window on the
drivers side.

Does it seem conceivable that the seal has broken or worn out somewhere (it
looks ok, though a bit faded) and is therefore letting some water in? Given
the amount of rain that we've had, it doesn't seem like there's much water
in there (I've dried it all out now). And the insullation bag is very damp,
so I'm leaving it out for now.

*sigh* Any idea how much this might cost to have replaced?

Thanks,

-Bill
