I've heard that blocks are a bad way to lower your truck... However, if
you're set on using them, you should make sure to double check your
pinion angle to make sure that nothing's binding and causing that clunk
noise.

I personally used the hotchkis 2/3 kit on my truck (coils and leafs) and
love it. I got all my springs from list members slightly used and have
had no problems. Perhaps you might also want to check the cosmetic blem
