I'd be leary of doing a full valve job on on older motor (especially one
with over 100k) without doing rings as well. I had a 5 angle valve job done
on my new heads when I put them on my stang... I ended up having to do
rings about a month later because of severe blowby and watching a chunk of
ring come out the oil drain hole while changing my oil. (i always filter
what comes out so that I can look for particulates) I ended up having some
slight scoring as well.
