:>Does anyone know how many convertible Dakota's were made?
:>I know there weren't many. there's one for sale locally for $1K.
:>I'm just wondering how much effort I should put in to trying to find

:>All info will be appreciated.
:>thanks.

Here are the production numbers, by year:

   1989: 2,842
   1990: 1,039
   1991: 8

Unfortunately, that's all I have; I don't have any further
breakdown by engine, transmission, color, etc.

$1K sounds like a good price, but it really depends on the
condition. Despite their low numbers, Dakota convertibles
haven't started to fetch super high premiums as of yet. Give
it another 20 years or so and they might start to obtain
some collector status. :-)
