I could see if they'd put in a 160 stat.. that's what mine has in it.. but
if you were to make the motor think it was actually warmer.. it'd cause it
to run lean.. a colder motor needs more fuel. And after almost 3 years.. no
codes from running it cold.. my temp gauge just passes the first mark off
cold.
