The hubs will shed a little bit of grease if they get really hot (excessive
braking or just plain out hot outside and long drives)...normally nothing to
worry about. If it's excessive, change the hub.

I had the spindle, rotor and inner & outer bearings replaced on the front
driver side in November 2003. now i look at the wheel near
the dust cap and a smudge of lube exists all around that area.
is this something I should worry about? is this a leak?
i cleaned the wheels not too long ago so i know its
not from the road. and its not brake dust cause its very oily. looks like
lube to me.
what gives? i think the warranty on the work expires soon.
