Well it looks like I am going to need tires soon for
my truck. I have a 2k Dakota Club Cab 4x4. I am
wanting to put a 3" body lift kit on it with a set of
33" tires. The only problem is that I have the 17" RT
wheels on my truck that I like alot. I hove found a
set of procomp AT Tires for about 800 dollars that are
33x12.5x17 and I know that they will fit. From my
understanding a 33X12.5X17 is the same as a 305/70/17.
I know that the H2 runs a 315/70/17 BFG AT that I can
get them for about 108 each. From BFG's web-site that
tire is close to 35 inchs tall. But I went and
measured the tire and it is real close to 33 inchs
tall. The question I have has anyone run a 315/70 on a
lifted dakota? and some of you guys that have 33 is
there a little more room for a larger tire. I do not
do a whole lot of 4x4 but I do not want them to scrub
and I do not mind triming a little off the front
bumper to make them fit. It would save me alot of
money in the long run to run the BFG's

Thanks
Matt Tharp
