Well, a shorter (stiffer) sidewall does help with handling,
and a larger wheel can allow larger diameter brakes to be
installed on the vehicle, but the point of diminishing marginal
returns has been reached a LONG time ago, IMHO! Notice that you
won't find any true performance cars using wheels and tires like
this; its gone beyond performance and into "bling-bling-ville"
where more is better and reality takes a back seat to absurdity.
(Kind've like the entire "rap" subculture itself, which has
hijacked and run away with this trend...)

Its gone to the point now where the largest wheel I would
consider putting on one of my vehicles is around 17", just for
the principle of the thing! I certainly do not want to be
mistaken for an "all bling, no brain" groupie. :-P When it
comes time to put new wheels on the Cuda, I plan to use 15s.
I have a set of wheels already, slated to go on the '96 Dak,
and they are also 15s.
