The intermittent function is through the multi-function switch.

Okay, with all the snow and crap that's been happening here I've had my
wipers on a whole lot the past few days. However, there isn't really enough
to justify keeping them on all the time so I've had them on the intermittant
setting. Now, you'd think that being on the intermittant setting would
cause them to wipe at even intarvals, wouldn't you? wrong. No matter what
setting they're on as long as it's not low or hi, they pick the interval at
random. sometimes it's the same interval over and over again, and then
other times it'll be one or two at a short interval and then one or two at a
long interval, sometimes it's a LONG interval between wipes. Any idea what
could cause this?
