| Uhh, not really sure how you'd do that. The owners manual and FSM both
| say to remove the lamp assembly in order to replace the bulb.
|
| On the passenger side, the back of the headlamp assembly is fully

|
| I must be missing something, Bernd, since I'm sure you know what you're
| talking about -- why the heck does the FSM (not to mention the owners
| manual, for average joe dummy) say to remove the whole assembly?
The FSM may say to remove the assembly, but I've swapped the headlight
bulbs in both my GenIIIs and my father's '00 Durango and never used a
hand tool. Just my hands. Just reach in, give that ring a 1/3 turn,
pull the bulb, and installation is the reverse of removal.
