Brake Time revisited.

Ok, here's a recap:
#1 - I don't care how Sam's website is constructed, just finish the
blasted thing..

#2 - I was looking really hard at the SSBC rotor and pad set that made
use of slotted STAINLESS STEEL rotors and "performance pads" and had
asked the list if anyone had any experience with them. I didn't even
get a response from Sam, the guy trying to sell them to me. [no slam
intended] So, undaunted, I went directly to their website and tried to
pose a question top their tech support. I was trying to find out what
kind of pads they included in their kits, and how much dust that
combination generated....
Well, I am not going to go into the gory details, but, um, I guess I
just simplified my search by one. Sorry, Sam. I will mention that
Stainless rotors sound like a good idea, and Sam is selling that kit for
almost $200 less than TruckPerformance.com is...

So, my project over lunch is to hit the local places and see what's
available here. JCW wants $257.24 for their drilled and slotted Rotors,
and "satisfied" ceramic pads, so that's my benchmark. I need to stop
F'ing around and get this fixed....

Oh yeah, one local place has PG plus pads for $68. Is that a
reasonable price?
