I never popped mine out and they started falling out on their own. I lost
three of the four (two of them within a one week period -- I just got a
replacement for one and then the other fell out..).

I glued them all in now because I was sick of losing them and paying for
the replacements. If I lose one again, I'm going to wait and find a set of
four on ebay. A lot cheaper that way.

I also noticed that the later replacements I bought seem to stay in better
than the original ones. That could just be that they were brand new,
though. I never really thought about or looked closely at the center caps
when the truck was new.
