Online petitions are pretty much worthless. Take the time to write the
FCC directly. And your congresscritter.
Howard Stern has collected a lot of material and posted links on his

Even if you don't like Stern - even if you find him disgusting,
deplorable and obscene, you need to be worried about what's going on and
supporting his rights. You don't have to like what he says, only
support his right to free speech (which you also enjoy daily). Stern
can't even air clips of TV programs (Oprah) for fear of being slammed by
the FCC - it's an attempt to stop him from speaking out against Bush,
thinly veiled behind "decency" claims. Oprah airs it, it's fine, Stern
airs that exact same content and it's indecent. Go figure.
