The DAKSY is still throwing me a MIL - P1281 & a P0442...
I cleared it once & it came back within 24 hrs...
For the 1281:
I've got heat & the temp gage is staying around 180...
As a DC Tech, ya think the 1281 is a bad Robt Shaw 180 Deg stat?
Should I just go ahead & replace it?
For the 0442:
I've checked the gas cap & the gasket seems fine...
Jon Smith said to check near the Evap Canister...
If there's a leak there, what do I look for?
When the cap went south last time, the code was P0455...
Scotia Motors charged $55 for the test - evidently they blow smoke thru the
evap system -
& the new cap - that's where they said the leak was...
Maybe they were blowin smoke somewhere else???
