O2 sensor bung plug

I was checking some of the past DML posts on this subject
in an attempt to save some time and running around.

I've come across posts that state that an 18mm oil drain plug
and an M18 x 1.5 thread plug work to plug the O2 bung.

Can anyone confirm (or not) if either will work? If so,
what kind of places are most likely to have them?
