I was driving by a salvage yard I frequent now and then and decided to weigh
my truck. It's a '92 std cab short bed 5.2 4x4, automatic, ac, power stuff,
bench seat, full tank and me not in it registered in at 4060#. Does this
sound accurate? Seemed a little light to me, I was expecting 4300 or so.
Empty bed obviously, though I usually have a toolbox with about 200 lbs of
tools and supplies stuffed in it. Anyone else have anything to compare this
figure to?
