Thanks, for the info. I have checked and replaced the EGR valve and
replaced the O2 sensor. The old EGR valve checked out OK, but at >100K
miles, I figured both needed replaced. I guess there is no guarantee that
the new O2 sensor is not bad, but I don't know of any way to check it. I
have to pass an emission test every two years, so I just replaced them prior
to the inspections. The numbers on the inspection looked good. I am trying
to find out how to check the fuel sync with the camshaft postition sensor. I
had a spare set of injectors lying around, I even tried that. Also have new
plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor. I have three PCMs. Two stock and one
Performance PCM. All three do the same thing.
