I can see both sides here, and the grass *is* greener... I am a "CD of the
week" member like Josh, but after seeing Mike and his disgustingly hip IPOD
mount in his truck and thinking "man, that would be Waaay easier than a
laptop.." I decided to get a dedicated MP3 player. Had I not gotten laid
off, I would have one now. The one option that I think would be
tremendously useful would be a low power FM transmitter, built into the
player so you wouldn't be required to use a cord if you didn't want to or
it wasn't convenient. Yeah you would lose sound quality, but it would work
in just about any car you sat in (rentals, company cars, etc.)
