It's the mechanical fan. My 97 didn't come with an electric fan.
I know it's engauged because it roars when i take off.
I'm thinking that it might need a tad more freon.
I think they charge the system at 2k RPM to get the best efficancy on the
hiway.
When they are charged the low side pressure is somwhere around 28lbs roughly
32 deg's.
More freon in the system the higher the pressure. That leads me to beleve
that my pressure is too low at idle. I'm not sure though and i wanted to run
this past someone before i add any freon.
If i put too much in it might mess with my cooling going down the freeway.
I guess i could allways invest in a viper fan setup. Hey don! Are you
selling prefabed kits? lol
