Well if it was an older vehicle that ran with R-12 I'd say that was cheap!!
But it sounds a little high to me, since this is an R-134a system. However,
if they did it correctly, I can see it being that high, finding the leak can
take time, as I understand it these trucks require a lot of disassembly to
get to the evaporator which could have been where the O-rings were, and
evacuating the system to confirm the leak is gone also takes time.
If we assume the parts were 20 bucks and labor is charged at $45/hour that
works out to about 5 hours time.
