That might not be an optical illusion, I don't see how they could use the
same exact fender, the GENI and GenII headlight setups are very different.
With the GenIIs being much more curved, while the GenI was very boxy. They
both wrap into the fenders and how each look could be achieved with no
change to the fender is beyond me.
