It would probably be worth a shot. That must have been one heck
of a labor charge! What he changed was a hall effect sensor, and
those run around $30 from Mopar. Some shops offer a warranty or
guarantee on their work; hopefully that will be the case here as
well! To have a "mechanic" throw a part at a vehicle without
first diagnosing the problem and then charging such a hefty fee
for the privilidge would leave a pretty bad taste in my mouth. :-(
